Tensioners specifically built for the Wind Industry
The wind tensioner was primarily developed for the wind industry to suit almost all of the applications within a wind turbine.
The tensioner is designed with a taller load cell so it has a thinner design to ensure it can fit in between bolts.
The wind tensioner is also designed with a fail-safe in place, so if the tensioner failed for whatever reason, the tool would stay on the joint and not blow off and potentially cause a serious injury.

Fail-safe technology: All of out WTB tensioners are fitted with fail safe technology, so it will fail safely inside the tool.
High life puller: manufactured from aircraft quality high strength tensile steel, while lightweight for ease of handling.
Optional Cycle counter: For maintenance scheduling purposes all WTB tools are offered with a cycle counter.
Geared nut rundown: This offers a rapid and consistent way of seating the hex nuts down during the process.
Swivel connection: 360° swivel operation allows the hydraulic hoses to be positioned in the best possible space.
‘Snap Down’ Nut Drive: To increase the speed all WTB tensioners are fitted with a spring-loaded device, this automatically engages the tensioner drive socket with a hexagon nut spring-loaded
